Call for Love Devotion May 16
I am the owner of my own business, and one of my duties is to do our accounting. Entering all transactions into the computer and bringing the balanced bank accounts and yearly info to our accountant to do our tax returns, personal and business. Our year end is March 31 and I have until June 30 to submit the return to the government. Of course, that means taking the information to the accountant before that, so that she has time to do her part, and prepare our returns. Here it is May 15, and I have done nothing so far. It isn't difficult work, I have done it many times, but for some reason I always procrastinate until I absolutely HAVE to sit down and get it done, sometimes even later than that. All the receipts for our whole year are in a shoebox, and files, and need to be sorted, organized, entered and balanced with the bank statements. It's just not a very Michaelish activity. I feel like I am being torn away from my true love, being with Michael, and forced to do something unnatural, tedious and boring, the opposite of Michael!
This morning I put this beautiful picture that Rita posted last night, as my screen saver on my laptop, and decided that maybe I could make this a more enjoyable task if I had Michael with me. I asked him to please be with me and help me to keep my focus and attention on the job, and to help me to make it enjoyable rather than tedious. I kept my laptop on the table, with his beautiful face watching me work. Michael was happily singing You Are Not Alone, while I worked, and I swear I could here him encouraging me, like he would do for a child, telling me that I can do it, that it will be no problem at all, and think how wonderful it will feel when I'm done. He stayed, all afternoon, and I lost track of time, almost forgetting to pick up my daughter from school. I got a huge chunk of the work done, everything sorted and ready to enter into the computer.
Was Michael really with me? Did I make it up? I can't prove that he was, but I do know for sure that I felt wonderful, blissful, as I worked, something that has not happened while doing paperwork, at least not for me. It is another reminder for me, that my life does not have to be divided into Michael, and non Michael. They can, they must, be blended together for me to be well adjusted, happy, and making the biggest contribution and difference in the world. I don't have to leave my regular life for Michael, (although at times I really want to!) I need to invite Michael into that life with me. Thank you Michael for another gentle lesson, and thank you for your encouragement and love.
This site is dedicated to the celebration of Michael Jackson's life and legacy. To share stories, inspiration, hopes, dreams and what we are doing to make a difference and change the world. Thank you Michael, for inspiring us and always giving us your best.

First Try
Call for Love devotion May 9
Please be gentle on me, I have never drawn anything before. Not a lesson, not an interest. Why is it that Michael encourages us to step out of our comfort zone, step out of our preconceived ideas about who and what we are and what we are capable of? It feels as though he is showing me that whatever I think I am, whatever I think I know about myself, is just something I made up. I actually can be, and AM, so much more than I ever imagined. Why would I want to draw Michael, when I have friends who are artists, and who gift me with fantastic pictures of him almost daily? I just wanted to know how it FEELS, to draw him. And it felt wonderful, I have to say, it was like time was stopped and it was only the moment of NOW. Thank you Siren, thank you Debbie, thank you all for being so loving and generous and accepting and willing to share your true selves, so that I have the courage to share my true self as well. I love you

Big Dreams
What is the biggest, best, most amazing dream that you have for your life? What would you do if you had the time, money, courage or energy? What was it that you dreamed of when you were younger? Think about this for a minute. The answers will be popping into your head. Before you shoot them down with your negative thoughts, just let them linger in your mind for a minute. Imagine them actually being possible. Imagine how you would feel if your dreams became reality. Don't think about what needs to change, or what needs to be done, just envision them miraculously becoming reality. Then let them go. Tomorrow, bring them back again, just for a minute. In your mind, make them real. Feel the feelings, think the thoughts, that would come with the dream coming true. Do this every day, only for a minute, as often as you like, as often as feels good. If any ideas pop up, about something you could do to take a small step in that direction, do it. Maybe make a phone call, read a book, look up something online, write something down, whatever it is, just do it for fun. It can't hurt, and it just might change your life! Even better, it might change someone else's life, change the whole world, and make Michael's dreams come true. It's up to us.
Lift Your Head Up High
And Scream Out To The World
I Know I Am Someone
And Let The Truth Unfurl
No One Can Hurt You Now
Because You Know What's True
Yes, I Believe In Me
So You Believe In You

I Have This Dream
some people say
I live in a fantasy
because I see the world differently
visions come to me in my sleep
I close my eyes
to see what God is showing me
close your eyes and imagine with me
see the wonder in every living thing
if we can live our lives
the way it is in my dreams
love will take us to a place where god can be seen
this is my dream
I have this dream
this i believe
the world a place for all humanity
if we could take love to it's highest level
more than the world has ever seen
I have this dream
let's put Gods love on display
angel of love come my way
it's really up to you and me
one world together in harmony
in my dream I see heaven
and the face of the one perfect being
I see people turning into angels
and God giving them their wings
this is my dream
I have this dream
this I believe
the world's a place for all humanity
if we could take love to it's highest level
more than the world has ever seen
I have this dream

Michael Jackson is my Jesus
And he departed from our sight
that we might return to our heart
and there find Him
For he departed,
and behold,
He is here
St. Augustine
Jesus told His disciples that they had seen Him do great things, but they would do greater things.
Do any of us actually believe this? Isn't Jesus so Divine that doing greater things
than Him would be blasphemous?
How many of us even come close to reaching our potential?
Not many.
How many of us think it is our JOB to heal the world?
Not many.
How many of us love unconditionally?
Not many.
How many of us sacrifice ourselves for the sake of others? Not many.
As a matter of fact,
I think there is one person that Jesus must be pretty proud of right now.
His name is Michael Jackson.
When you look at the facts, it really is a no brainer.

Camera Shy - Call for Love Devotion April 2
This week I decided for the first time to put a real picture of me up as my profile picture. (Of course, I chose one that was not just me, but me and Siren to make it a bit more comfortable) A couple of days later, on another group, we were all invited to post a picture of ourselves. There are people there that I have known for over 2 years and have never seen! It was wonderful to be able to connect a person with a face. I am not sure why this is, and I was a bit surprised by how much I enjoyed "meeting" everyone.
Why is it that we don't usually share our personal pictures with one another. Maybe it's because we think we don't measure up somehow. Too old, too young, too skinny, too fat, not attractive in some way. I have always thought I looked horrible in pictures. I don't look in the mirror much, only when I brush my teeth and my hair. I don't dwell on my appearance because I don't think I look especially good!!!
This started me thinking about Michael, as most things do. Imagine being him. A shy person, who, from the age of 5, had his picture taken at every opportunity. Can you imagine how that would feel? Especially if you are not happy with the way you look (although, OMG, did he ever NOT look fantastic?). He NEVER could go out just looking however he looked when he woke up in the morning. The world was a place full of cameras for him. I am talking about his private life. I realize that he was prepared for his concerts and other public appearances, but I am just thinking about his own personal life, like going to the store, or out to dinner with friends. Wait a minute!!!! Michael couldn't go to the store or out for dinner with friends! He was a prisoner in his own life. He had to hide from all the cameras, and people, because many of them were out to make him look bad, trying to make money by sensationalizing anything at all about Michael Jackson.
Today I was at the zoo, and we saw a tiger sleeping on the grass. She woke up and stood up, and started walking toward the bars. People came running to take pictures. I took one too. And I felt sorry for the tiger, who had no privacy. This made me think of Michael too, as most things do. The life he lead was like no other person's life. To judge him in any way is completely unfair and cruel. I know all of you feel the way I do. How did he manage to stay so loving and sweet? The world did not deserve someone as beautiful as him. Thinking about these things, as hard as it is, only serves to make me love him more, and more, and more.
