You Are My Life

Once all alone
I was lost in a world of strangers
No one to trust
On my own, I was lonely
You suddenly appeared
It was cloudy before but now it's clear
You took away the fear
You brought me back to life

You are the sun
You make me shine
Or more like the stars
That twinkle at night
You are the moon
That glows in my heart
You're my daytime my nighttime
My world
You're my life

Now I wake up everyday
With this smile upon my face
No more tears, no more pain
Cause you love me
You help me understand
That love is the answer to all that I am
And I'm a better woman
You taught me by sharing your life

You are the sun
You make me shine
Or more like the stars
That twinkle at night
You are the moon
That glows in my heart
You're my daytime my nighttime
My world
You're my life

You gave me strength
When I wasn't strong
You gave me hope when all hope is lost
You opened my eyes when I couldn't see
Love was always here waiting for me

This about sums up how I feel about Michael.  It's also how I feel about all of you sisters at Call for Love.   He has given us each other to share our love and support with.  I am so grateful for all of you who I have come to know through our love for Michael.  You mean so much to me, and I love you as much as I love any of the people that I know in my "real" life.  Thank you so much for sharing your hearts with me and each other.

Wednesday morning we will be leaving for 6 wonderful days in California, and I fee so blessed for the opportunity for this experience.  Have a wonderful week, and we will be sure to share it all with you when we return to our homes and our computers!
Love you all more,
Brenda

Thanks for Asking

Dear Michael,
Thank you so much for pushing me to do the things I don't want to do
All my life I have refused to do what others tell me.
The surest way to make sure I won't do something, is to tell me to do it
With you it's different
It has to do with the promise I made to you back in the summer of 2009
To ALWAYS say yes to those little ideas that pop into my mind
Since then you have put so many little ideas into my mind
I know it's you
Because it sure isn't me
You have pushed me to do so many things that I had no interest in doing AT ALL
The latest one is the Messages for Michael that I am bringing for you
I am not artistic
I have no interest in making things pretty
I certainly didn't want the responsibility of taking people's messages to LA
I don't have time
These are all the excuses that make perfect sense to me
Good reasons not to get involved.
Just when I had told myself all this, feeling sure about it,
I found myself sending an email to all the people who have bought Ever After,
offering to take their messages to you at Forest Lawn and Neverland.
Evan as I was sending the email, I was arguing with myself,
Don't do this, why are you doing this?
I did it
The response was overwhelming
I have spent the last 2 weeks printing, cutting, gluing,
buying paper, stickers, sending emails, taking pictures
All while getting my business and myself ready to go
I have cried over the beautiful poems and letters and pictures
people have trusted me with.
My heart is bursting with love for these beautiful people
who love you as much as I do
I am honored to be doing this small thing
for you Michael, for them, and for me
There is nothing I would rather be doing
Thanks for asking

Michael In the Sky

Many of us spend a lot of time wondering if Michael really is with us or if we are hallucinating on a globally unified scale.  It's true that there are many of us but........
maybe we are all having Michael in the Sky dreams.  I am one of those whose confidence in the reality of what I am experiencing ebbs and flows.

On New Year's Day, I decided to put one of my many blank notebooks to use, and write down any Michael Miracles that may come up.  I actually bought the notebook a few months ago, for that exact purpose, but didn't get around to using it.  It has been 10 days now, and I find that, although I have not written them all down, the Michael Miracles happen more frequently when I am paying attention.  I don't think it's that they are actually happening more often, but that I am paying closer attention, and remembering them.  I know it's true that what we put our attention on, expands.  It is a universal law I think.

The question still remains, though, am I making it up or is it real?  Maybe my focusing attention is creating false MM's (otherwise know as Michael Miracles).  What I have discovered is that, at the time the miracle happens, there is no doubt at all.  I KNOW it in my heart, my mind, my body.  It's only later on, that the wondering starts.  This tells me that my first impression is the correct one.

I took this picture yesterday.  I looked up and saw Michael in the Sky.  At the time I felt warm, happy, delighted and totally sure that he had sent it for me to see.  I gratefully accepted the gift.
Only now, when I sat down to write this devotion, did I remember the term Pie in the Sky.  To me, it means dreams that are too big, and not likely to come true.  Isn't it interesting that I would name the post Michael in the Sky.  Just looked up the original meaning for the phrase, it said: - A promise of heaven, while continuing to suffer in this life.

I think it's our choice if we suffer or not, but i have no doubt that Michael definitely is a promise of Heaven.

What do you Expect?

This morning as I was thinking about my hopes and dreams for 2012, I had an amazing realization.  How many resolutions do we make without much of a belief that they will really happen?  Can we really lose 20 pounds, quit smoking, pay all our debts, and mend our relationships?  Do we really think it will happen when it hasn't happened the last 10 times we tried?  How do we even start to do all those things?  How can we have the time and energy to figure it all out and follow through? It makes me tired just to think about it!

The realization I had, was that what actually happens is just what we expect to happen.  We don't really expect anything to change, so it doesn't.  But what if we DID expect it?  What if we really believed that it was possible, in fact, inevitable that we could have what we want in our life?  What if the secret is in our expectations?  Most of the things we expect to happen, do happen.  We get up in the morning, we go to work, people treat us the way they always treat us, we do the things we always do, everything goes along according to plan.  It's only when we think about making changes that our reality doesn't match our expectations.  We tend to expect what we have always had.  No wonder things don't change!!!!
What if, instead of trying to figure out how I will earn that money, sell those books, fix those relationships, make that difference, I can leave the details to the Universe and just work on my expectations?

Yesterday I went skating with my husband.  There are only a few spaces for cars to park close to the skating pond, and a big parking lot a bit farther away.  We turned into the close lot, and I was totally expecting us to find a spot, even thought it was a busy time of day.  There was a truck ahead of us, and I saw that there was a car ready to pull out.  Of course, we thought the truck would take that spot, but he apparently didn't notice, and drove right by.  We got the spot.  Maybe the driver of the truck was not expecting to find a parking spot, but we were!   This is a tiny example that you can see in your own life if you look.  Once you see that we really do get what we expect in life, you can start to use it in a bigger way, to create the life of your dreams.  That is what I am planning to do in 2012.  I'll let you know how it goes!
Happy New Year everybody!
