Reaching the World

A Michael Jackson Quote,

Personal Development Skills and YOU

Reaching the World

As many of you who may read this know, my life is devoted to Michael Jackson.  He is the inspiration for everything I do, and this week I have had a lesson in humility.  I want so much to make a difference, and to inspire other people to do what they are here to do, that I sometimes forget that I am not the one in control of everything, and that not everything and everyone needs to be the way I think it should be.

I am only one note in the symphony and my job is to be that note, and play that note the best that I possibly can, and believe that I can do it, and imagine myself doing it even better than I thought possible.  Other people's notes are for them to play.  If the way I play my note inspires someone, good, but it is not my business or responsibility to ensure that others are playing their notes on cue.  I don't even know what the cues are, so I need to be humble and remember that we are all necessary to the symphony.  Unique but not more or less important than one another.

In looking for a way to express this, I came across this video, which perfectly shows and explains what I hope to do with my gifts, and how Michael has inspired this person to use hers.  It is beautiful, because she is playing her note perfectly!!!

I love MJ, I always have and it is rewarding to me. This Christmas, I was overloaded with MJ gifts. I never thought it was possible that my love for him would last that long. I always find myself listening to his music no matter how I feel. Michael, I know that soon I will have my radio show dedicated to your music. I want badly to dedicate my life to your work. My love for you has gotten to the point where I named a rat after one of your songs (ben).
