My Girl

My 14 year old daughter is in Grade 9 and is taking a Leadership class this semester.  One of her assignments was to do a report on someone who is a hero to her.   YES!!!   She did her report on Michael!!
She didn't tell me she had picked him until she was finished.  This is SOOO fantastic.  She chose pictures of him and wrote his story from her perspective, saying what made him a hero to her.   She said that even through all his struggles he kept going because he knew that he was a good person and that's all that really matters.   I can't tell you what it means to me to have her do this.   It is a ripple, another ripple of truth that will go out to her teacher, her classmates, and into her future because of what she knows about Michael.  Will she go through the struggles in life, knowing that she is a good person, and that's all that matters?  I know people in their 50's who have not figured that out yet.   Thank you Michael, for all you have done for all of us.  You are still making such a huge difference, and I will never stop being amazed and grateful for your goodness and how you made your whole life a demonstration of LOVE.

Your daughter's report about Michael is wonderful. When I hear about bullying and kids being mean in schools I know that Michael's messages can make a difference in their lives and they must be exposed to those messages. Michael is the mentor for millions of the world's children, and young children inherently know who Michael is. Older children might not have parents who know the truth of who Michael really is. It's very important for older kids to teach their peers who Michael is because through his messages they learn non-judgement, tolerance, to always be yourself, to have faith, and that they will always have a friend in Michael who will uplift them and keep them strong.
